Fiber-optic drones use civilian-grade components (such as standard optical fibers with a diameter of 0.45 mm) to circumvent international sanctions on the supply of military chips, and the localization production rate has reached 75%.
The Russian Ministry of Defense quickly replenished operators through the "prisoners for freedom" recruitment plan. 15% of contract soldiers can skillfully operate fiber-optic drones after short-term training, forming a dual advantage of "technology + manpower".
