Since the advent of optical fiber, due to the material of the optical fiber itself, the optical fiber used in various environments must be processed into optical cables with corresponding mechanical properties to ensure the safety of the optical fiber during the laying, installation, use and maintenance process to ensure the smooth flow of the network. The optical fiber itself is a very weak link in terms of lateral pressure resistance and impact resistance. The existing large-scale outdoor optical cables and indoor optical cables do not provide fundamental guarantees in these aspects in complex environments.
Tests have shown that the lateral pressure resistance of the flexible metal armored optical fiber itself increases with the decrease in the outer diameter of the armor tube, and the maximum value has reached the extreme value of the current conventional optical cable test equipment (8000N/10CM). The indoor and outdoor optical cables of various specifications processed from this special optical fiber line can easily achieve the characteristics of small size, light weight, and excellent environmental characteristics. It is the preferred product for optical transmission used in complex environmental conditions such as building wiring, optical connection of key equipment in computer rooms, field operations, sensor detection, fiber-to-the-home, fiber-to-the-desktop, etc.
This series of optical cable products perfectly matches various existing standard connectors. The concept of full steel armor protection has been certified by a large number of practices, truly making optical fiber able to be used like copper cables.
